In closing, I am more than happy with my choice of the PM9 and have full confidence in this firearm as my CCW.īelow are pics showing my results with the rented CM9 (blue silhouette) and my PM9 (pink silhouette).

Perhaps some of this can be chalked up to the fact that the CM9 was a rented gun with an untold amount of miles on it and the fact that I was using different ammo (Federal 115 grain FMJ). I was able to consistently get much tighter groupings at the same distances. I shot the PM9 noticeably better than the CM9. Dimensions and trigger performance are the same. The PM9 also has more machined parts than the CM9. I'm sure most members on this forum are aware that these two firearms are very similar with the only differences being that the PM9 utilizes polygonal rifling in its match grade barrel while the CM9 uses conventional rifling in its barrel. Having said that I will eventually replace them with Meprolight Tru Dots which I currently have on my Gen 3 Glock 26.Ībout a week before purchasing my PM9 I rented a CM9 at the range to get an idea on how I would fare on the Kahrs. I also liked the stock Kahr sights and found using them very intuitive and easy to line up on target. Like many people have already reported the trigger pull is super smooth and is in fact the best DAO trigger I have ever used. Recoil was very controllable and predictable making follow up shots relatively easy and accurate. I shot the factory recommended 200 rounds for the break in. Wow! I'm officially in love with this gun! Deadly accurate right out of the box.and ZERO malfunctions.įor the record, I was shooting American Eagle FMJ rounds, both 115 and 124 grain (by the way, this is the cleanest shooting ammo I have tried yet.very little residue). I finally got a chance to break in my new PM9 this afternoon at my local range.
